In our ensemble environment, young actors will have a unique opportunity to get a head start in understanding the foundations of professional acting training. White Pines Young Actor’s Studio is for the inquisitive and driven young actor ready to challenge themselves creatively! We will begin with the most important skills that all actors must begin with: listening/ responding, connecting with a partner, improvisation and sense of play. Then we will examine how we apply these new skills to monologues, sides and cold readings. Each student will leave class with a working audition monologue as well as create an audition preparation game plan that they can use to feel confident whether their goal is to audition for a school play, professional production or college program.
