Creative MontCo is guided by an Executive Committee of community leaders from the business, government, cultural, educational and philanthropic sectors. It is funded by sponsors, including a major grant from the William Penn Foundation. Three subcommittees handle responsibilities ranging from programming to fundraising.

Placemaking and Creative Economy Committee

The Placemaking and Creative Economy Committee is working to connect arts and culture with the county’s economic development and revitalization efforts. Current projects include promoting our existing program to redesign and repurpose old newspaper boxes and an ongoing planning effort to put artwork along our county trail system.

Connections and Awareness Committee

The Connections and Awareness Committee handles Creative MontCo’s marketing, publicity, and events programming. Current projects include developing an improved online presence (including a database of available performance spaces, new jobs, and upcoming events) as well as an ongoing series of networking events.

Resource Development Committee

The Resource Development Committee focuses its efforts on general fundraising for Creative MontCo.
